Dennis Mullins
Dennis Mullins brings a lifetime of service, leadership, and community dedication to his candidacy for Mayor of Prattville.
Born in Anchorage, Alaska in 1961 to Air Force parents, Dennis and his family moved to Prattville in 1964, where he has proudly called home ever since. A 1979 graduate of Prattville High School and a former high school baseball player, Dennis went on to earn his degree from Troy State University in 1983. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with double minors in Business and Criminal Justice.
Dennis’s professional journey is rooted in service. He worked with Blount Construction before beginning his 11-year career with the Prattville Fire Department in 1988. His final assignment was as a Sergeant Medic, leading the rescue unit until his retirement in 1999.
As a small business owner, Dennis founded Hidden Hills Builder, LLC, specializing in residential home construction and inspections. His commitment to the city also includes service as chairman of the Prattville Solid Waste Disposal Authority.
In 1999, Dennis married Kem Rhodes Mullins, becoming a proud stepfather to Kevin Kirk and Kelli Kirk Lucas. Together, they are blessed with five grandchildren.
Dennis is a devoted Christian and a true believer in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. His faith, integrity, and lifelong investment in the Prattville community define his vision for the city’s future.
